Acknowledging the Tribal Chief…👆
With Wrestlemania only two weeks away where Cody may or may not finish his story, before that I wanted to acknowledge the tribal chief for whatever he has done so far for the WWE universe.
Carrying the Pandemic Era
It is a known fact that WWE tried really hard pushing Roman Reigns as the next big babyface of the company but failed miserably. People were booing him day in and out and WWE made the perfect choice of turning him heel when nobody saw it coming. After returning at Summerlam 2020, he went on to win the Universal Championship and later alligned himself with the OG Paul Heyman and it did wonders for both him and the company. People were tuning in every week just so that they can get a glimpse of this dynamic duo and see what’s in store for them. It was the start of the bloodline saga which was highly appreciated by both fans and critics and helped viewers in such difficult times, for this I acknowledge you as my Tribal Chief for carrying WWE on your shoulders during the pandemic 👆
The Bloodline
It is the greatest accomplishment for a WWE superstar to elevate his opponent in a match or even in a rivalry, but to elevate a faction where each and every member is recognised over a period of 4 years is just GOD level stuff. The bloodline story is one of the best storyline WWE has ever produced and there is no doubt about that…! Usos have come a long way from wrestling on a pre-show to main eventing a Wrestlemania. If that was not enough, they will now be fulfilling another one of their childhood dreams of wrestling each other on the grandest stage of all this year. Solo Sikoa has a win over John Cena on a PLE and that too where he absolutely destroyed Cena, that thing is definitley on top of his resume. Sami was already over fans but from the moment he joined the Bloodline, he went to another level. For elevating so much well deserved talent and giving us so many wonderful moments, I acknowledge you my tribal chief 👆
Defeated Legends one after the other
Not only did Roman elevated the talent along with him but also he defeated already established big names and truly proved that he is the next big thing. He had a gruesome match with Daniel Bryan, stacked both Bryan and Edge one over the other to retain his title at Wrestlemania as he told he would, he defeated John Cena, knocked out Goldberg at Jeddah and has slayed the beast on three different occassions…! Now there are not many people in WWE or in any other promotion who can claim they have defeated so many legends over such a short span of time. For such a feat, I acknowledge you my Tribal Chief 👆
Main Eventing Consecutive Wrestlemanias
It is every wrestler’s dream to headline Wrestlemania once in their life but Roman Reigns will be in the main event of Wrestlemania for the 8th time in his career. He will be tieing with Hulk Hogan’s record of 8 after Wrestlemania XL, but what is interesting is that he will be main eventing fourth consecutive Wrestlemania…! I don’t think anybody will be coming close to this streak in coming years. He is now just one Wrestlemania behind Hulk Hogan’s record of main eventing 5 consecutive Wrestlemanias. If Rock does turn on Roman, we might see Rock Vs Roman at next year’s Wrestlemania, only time will tell what’s in store for Tribal Chief following Wrestlemania XL. For creating such mamoth records and such instrumental title reign of 1300+ days, I acknowledge you as my tribal chief 👆
